一名男網友之前好心幫女同學組電腦螢幕，沒想到對方後來竟質疑他偷賺中間差價，讓他超火大又傻眼，最後賭氣用原價把螢幕收回，甚至還被其他同學誤會1個學期。鄉民看完紛紛幫QQ，感嘆道「最慘工具人」、「男生要懂得保護自己」。

網友在PTT說道，「無意間注意到現在自己在用的螢幕，是華碩年代久遠不知道型號的螢幕，當初某個女同學叫我幫她組一台電腦含螢幕 ，預算1萬5，剛組完2個月好好的，結果某一天那個女同學密我...。」

女同學質問說，她自己有喇叭，為什麼還要選有揚聲器的螢幕，懷疑原PO有偷賺。對此，他解釋了老半天，直說「我也不是店家，是你同學耶，是要賺什麼？當初發票也都給妳了...」，並提到這款螢幕是當時CP值最高的，特地挑沒揚聲器的反而出貨少、價格高，但對方還是半信半疑。

結果沒多久，女同學又傳來訊息，稱她堂哥說「少一個不需要的東西，價格一定比較低，每多一個功能，對廠商都是一個成本，然後發票金額不一定是真的，搞不好是他叫店員發票高開，自己偷藏錢」。

原PO聽完瞬間暴怒，直接用原價跟女同學收回螢幕；更誇張的是，他向對方要盒子、保固卡和發票，對方直回「都丟了，發票是我自己要對獎的」。這件事情讓他從大二黑到大三，最後還是那位女同學在大四時，因為其他事情被小圈圈的人討厭，他才有解釋的機會，慢慢白回來。

鄉民對旅行箱品牌此紛紛回應，「珍惜生命，遠離(成為)工具人」、「有些事情就是吃力不討好，少做就對」、「幫人組電腦要有被要求終身保固的預期心理，出問題都會找你」、「一家人都有被害妄想症」、「像你這樣把螢幕買回，他們會認為你理虧才被迫付錢，不但花錢還壞名聲，可謂賠了夫人又折兵」。
